Dr. Mohammad Sohel-Uzzaman is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon with a diverse background in medical practice across several prominent hospitals in Bangladesh. He holds an MBBS degree, is a BCS (Health) officer, and has achieved FCPS (Surgery) certification, reflecting his expertise in the field of surgery.
Dr. Sohel-Uzzaman began his career at Green Life Medical College & Hospital in 2013, where he honed his clinical skills. He then moved on to work at Popular Medical College Hospital (2014-2015) and Apollo Hospital Dhaka (2015-2017), gaining exposure to a wide variety of medical cases and surgical procedures. His work at these institutions allowed him to develop a strong foundation in patient care and surgical interventions.
From 2017 to 2019, he worked at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, one of the oldest and most prestigious hospitals in Bangladesh. During this time, he further refined his surgical expertise and contributed to the teaching and training of medical students.
Dr. Sohel-Uzzaman also served in several rural healthcare settings, including Chitalmari Upojilla Health Complex (1 year, 3 months), Rajoir Upojilla Health Complex, and Madaripur District Hospital. These roles allowed him to provide essential medical care in underserved communities and expand his understanding of public health challenges.
In 2022, Dr. Sohel-Uzzaman returned to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he currently serves as an Assistant Registrar. He is deeply committed to providing high-quality care to his patients and contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals.
With a career spanning over a decade, Dr. Sohel-Uzzaman remains dedicated to advancing medical practice through his work in surgery and his ongoing contributions to healthcare education.
